North Country SnowSeekers

Snowmobile Safety Class certificates are issued to all registered participants taking the
Course. The Course is required for persons age 12 through 17 to legally ride a
snowmobile without supervision. It is encouraged for all snowmobilers. Some, but not
all, insurance companies give a discount on Snowmobile Insurance if the owner has
attended and passes a Snowmobile Safety Training program. The North Country
SnowSeekers endorse the objectives of the "Safe Riders" program and the "Zero
Tolerance" program.

above classes are FREE to participants and include a DNR Snowmobile Safety Patch,
instruction book and other information. All Youth, ages 12 to 17, will receive a one year
"Youth Membership" in the Michigan Snowmobile Association. This membership will
include all materials given to regular adult members except the voting priveleges, and
includes a One Year subscription to the Michigan Snowmobile News (the Monthly MSA
news magazine during the September to March period - approx 6 issues) at no cost to
them.
